Crashed 25/2/91 whilst en route between Dhahran and Riyadh, flying low across the open

desert, the helicopter is reported to have suddenly encountered a layer of ground fog.

Shortly after entering the fog the helicopter apparently flew into the ground and was destroyed.

The accident happened in daylight (08:51 Local time). It is understood that, due to

conflicting traffic inbound to Dhahran, the aircraft was instructed to remain

below 150 feet until clear of the airport approach path. (Credit ASN).

All three onboard sadly killed.
